👋 Hey there, I'm Sourav — a software engineer at Amadeus, with 1+ year of experience building backend systems.

My coding journey began back in college, when I wrote my very first program in C++. Honestly, I had no idea what was going on, but I was fascinated by how a few lines of text could create something real on a screen.

That spark pushed me into the world of competitive programming, where I sharpened my problem-solving skills, learned to think in algorithms, and built resilience through countless challenges.

Eventually, I found my true calling in web development, especially in backend engineering. For me, writing backend code feels like laying the foundation of a house — invisible to most, but critical for everything else to stand tall and work flawlessly.

At Amadeus, I get to put this passion into practice — building systems at scale, collaborating with brilliant people, and constantly learning along the way.

Beyond work, I'm always curious — tinkering with ideas, exploring new tech, and keeping that same excitement alive that I had when I first discovered coding.
